You may want to join forces with someone in your waking life, although not necessarily in an actual marriage. For example, you may want to form a business partnership. The qualities of the person you are marrying in your dream may be qualities that you need to assimilate yourself. Dreaming that you are marrying an ex can be a sign that you need to learn from old mistakes, or that there are aspects of your current relationship that are similar to aspects of your old relationship.
